As a Regional Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the procurement strategy across Shangri-La's Southeast Asia and Australasia operations. This leadership position demands strategic foresight, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder engagement.

You will act as a trusted advisor to hotel leadership teams, ensuring procurement decisions align with operational requirements, brand standards, and cost-efficiency objectives. Your scope will include sourcing, tendering, supplier management, and compliance with a strong focus on data analytics to drive insights and enhance procurement outcomes.

As a Regional Procurement Manager, We Rely on You To

  • Implement the VP procurement vision, focusing on regional projects and continuous improvement through data insights
  • Manage procurement systems, extract and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities, and track consolidation and compliance metrics.
  • Ensure full adherence to procurement policies, including the three-quotation rule, and develop action plans for exceptions
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership and regional functions, attend operational meetings, and challenge non-standard specifications.
  • Lead category-based sourcing initiatives, consolidate spend, and present cost-saving opportunities from tenders and alternative sourcing.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers, fostering innovation and capability development

We Are Looking for Someone With

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management is essential
  • Candidates with prior experience in audit or assurance will be considered
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years in procurement or finance, with a proven track record in managing complex projects and delivering data-driven insights
  • Experience in regional or multi-property environments is advantageous
  • Familiarity with leading procurement platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Ariba is highly desirable. Exposure to data visualization and analytics tools like Tableau will be advantageous in driving performance metrics and reporting
  • Good analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation capabilities, and the ability to operate independently with integrity and sound judgement
