Regional Procurement Leader

Our client is globally recognised leader within the Luxury Goods MNC. They are market leaders in the innovative development with high quality and innovative luxury fine pieces and exquisite jewellery. The company has a significant presence in Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing best-in-class supply chain and procurement excellence and takes pride in consistently ascertaining maximum consumer's satisfaction.

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Regional Procurement Leader, who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring efficient development and redefine improved strategic Procurement Processes for Southeast Asia region and beyond.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Regional Chief Finance Officer, and this position will be focusing on the below:

• Subject matter expert to spearhead regional strategic sourcing and order-to-cash re-engineering initiatives, including that of developing and executing related localisation of supplier base strategy to cater to changing consumer demands.

• Lead supplier negotiation and deep dive into quantitative technical assessments with the relevant cross functions.

• Develop and put in place supplier evaluation metrics to ensure synergy between procurement processes and operations activities, including that of streamlining dashboards for a better overview of Purchase Orders etc.

• Spearhead Procurement Excellence initiatives to enhance tender and vendor management process by means of integrating procurement operations with Source-to-Pay system.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate Profile

Singapore . Permanent

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Procurement or related International Supply Chain/ Business Management experiences in a complex Luxury Retail environment.

• Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework.

• Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Procurement Excellence.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to regional/ global stakeholders involved.

• Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
