Our client is a Global MNC in Logistics and Freight Frowarding industry . Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Regional Pricing Assistant Manager (Ocean Freight) to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze ocean freight market trends and price movements across Asia to develop data-driven pricing strategies and strengthen competitive positioning
- Drive growth in targeted trade lanes by identifying opportunities, leading strategic initiatives, and negotiating competitive freight rates and volume agreements with global carriers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ocean carriers and key stakeholders to secure favorable terms, service levels, and ensure operational alignment
- Lead and manage regional pricing teams across Southeast Asia while facilitating effective cross-functional communication and supporting business priorities through ad-hoc initiatives
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Min 5 years of ocean freight experience within international freight forwarding, 3PL, or ocean container liner industries
- Experience in managing ocean freight products for Intra-Asia and export trades from Asia
