Purpose of the role -
The role is accountable for driving execution, performance uplift, and growth outcomes across the region by translating insight into action with a dual mandate:
1. Internal Performance: Improve commercial and operational performance internally with a clear focus on commercial improvements. including cost efficiency, margin protection, scalability, and ways of working.
2. Client Outcomes: Deliver visibly better in-market results across Retail POSM and Promotional Items - improving speed to market, execution quality, delivery reliability, cost effectiveness, and sustainability impact.
This role extends accountability into key operational & supply chains, ensuring that internal processes, supplier ecosystems, and execution models are optimized for performance, scalability, and sustainability.
The 4 Key areas of focus would be: -

Role Scope
A core element of the role is the engage the wider business and ensure we are driving efficiency and effectiveness in our ability to use data and analytics to support sound internal and client-facing decision making. The role is expected to translate all key Operational, Procurement and Execution data into clear priorities and actions, identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities early, and ensure decisions are evidence-based rather than anecdotal.
The Role is accountable for identifying gaps in regional ways of working that impact internal performance, client delivery, commercial outcomes, or sustainability objectives. This includes calling out inefficiencies, duplication, bottlenecks, and execution risk, and combining data with first-hand, in-market observation to understand root causes.
Where gaps exist, the role is expected to model, build, and test new execution solutions. This includes developing new operating approaches, workflows, or systems that are client-facing, commercially viable, and sustainability-aligned, validating them in-market, and supporting pilots or early implementations with clients.
This is a regional role and is expected to maintain a strong in-market presence across APAC. Time spent in-market with all teams including client, procurement, supply chain and operations is essential to validating data-led insight, assessing commercial and sustainability performance at source, and embedding execution models that work in practice.
Key Responsibilities
1) Client Performance (externally focused)
. Create and measure client performance vs contract commitments
. Work with the Client MD's to understand trends and recommend improvement
. Create best proactive sharing platforms across clients
. Driver QBR reporting professionalization and delivery of key performance metrics
2) Commercial Performance (internal focused)
. Drive commercial performance through data led decision making and trend analysis with the client & operations team
. Measure and manage commercial targets across APAC budgets for both client and operational value metrics.
. Review CTS within region and produce structural efficiencies through automation and productivity savings.
. Rate card reporting and management (Not delivery)
3) Operational Performance
. Performance management, reporting, trend and insights management across the region driving improvements to overachieve on the brilliant basics in both client and internal key metrics
. Streamlining ways of working and ensuring best practice across the region
4) Vendor Performance
. Working with the supply chain & Procurement team ensure evaluate our supplier performance
. Create clear trend and improvement value chain across the region
. Identify risk and recommend solutions to support our ongoing improvement within the PSL
. Working with the COE (Centre of Excellence - Procurement) team ensure trend / innovation is clear identified and delivered across the PSL
Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure
Mindset to succeed in the role
This role requires a strong execution mindset, with the ability to think end-to-end and balance internal operational performance, client performance, commercial outcomes, and sustainability objectives.
The successful individual will be data-driven, commercially aware, and comfortable operating at the intersection of internal operations and client delivery.
Experience across client, procurement, supply chain, production, or execution environments is essential, along with exposure to Retail POSM and Promotional Item ecosystems. Experience operating across multiple APAC markets and working effectively between regional teams, central functions, and clients is strongly preferred. Ability to Identify the root causes of sustainability challenges and develop comprehensive, integrated solutions.

The Lead must be focused on outcomes rather than activity. This role requires the ability to move from insight to action quickly, prioritising what will materially improve internal procurement performance and client outcomes. The mindset is practical, decisive, and oriented toward fixing root causes rather than managing symptoms.

The Lead must consistently think in terms of value creation, cost efficiency, margin protection, and return on effort for both the business and clients. Other Requirements
The role requires regular travel across APAC markets and on-site engagement with suppliers, regional teams, and clients. Flexibility to support critical execution phases and the ability to work across time zones are expected.
