Projects Execution:
- Ensure all projects in SEA are delivered in time, within budget, with quality to the satisfaction of both customers and Thales internal stakeholders, in coordination with relevant BLs
- Implement appropriate project execution monitoring framework, in coordination with exporting BLs with the group to ensure risks and issues are detected early and necessary corrective actions are put in place at the earliest. This includes managing escalations when necessary.
- Ensure Offsets obligations are delivered in time as per contractual commitments (Indonesia and Malaysia mainly)
- Maximizing cash collection is a prime consideration at all times
- All of the above respecting new group governance rules
Bids and proposals:
- Ensure local bids and proposals are delivered in time, are as optimized as possible (technical solution, costs, industrial structure).
- Contribute to improving hit rate in SEA
Engineering:
- Support the various Engineering teams in Singapore to accomplish their missions
- Maximize co-operation, synergies and load-balancing between the various Engineering teams, the Digital Factory and the TRT center
- Take an active role towards the establishment of a common Digital Competence Center (DCC) across all BLs in Singapore and lead this DCC, in close collaboration with Corporate Engineering and with the relevant BLs
- Increase Engineering competitiveness through better tools & structure
Other shared services (HSE, Quality & Customer Satisfaction, Real Estate, IS/IT etc):
- Manage other shared services teams to deliver relevant services to the organization in time and with the expected level of quality
- Optimize cost structure for shared services teams
Ambition Boost:
- Lead the implementation of the Ambition Boost plan in the region
Stakeholders Management:
- Lead, manage, coach and develop operations teams in the different countries in SEA
- Actively engage the Business Lines (BLs) senior Key Stakeholders to achieve operational excellence in SEA and facilitate all interactions between local teams, BLs stakeholders and DGDI organization
- Where needed, in coordination with the country directors & KAMs/ SAM, Engage with senior client stakeholders to increase customer satisfaction and establish trusted advisor relationships
Requirements
- University degree in relevant discipline
- Track record in large and complex projects implementation (incl systems integration scope). Crisis management and change management experience is a must. Software Engineering management experience is also required (agile preferred)
- Inter-personal ability is a must to build good rapport and trust with colleagues, partners and customers
- Strong leadership skills, hands-on personal style
- Results-oriented, customer-focused, strategic, analytical, good team spirit, excellent communication & writing skills
- Team player who is hungry (sense of urgency), humble & aware
- Able to work in a multi-national, matrix company structure with multiple stakeholders. Previous experience working in Asia is a plus.
