About the Role

The Regional Manager, Asia Pacific will be responsible for leading the company's sales growth and market expansion across the region for construction and mining machinery. Based in Singapore, the role will manage and develop sales teams across Asia Pacific, strengthen dealer and customer relationships, and drive revenue performance across key markets.

In addition to regional sales leadership, the role will also lead the aftersales service and parts sales teams, with a focus on growing service revenue, parts sales, customer satisfaction, and long-term equipment support. This is a senior commercial leadership role requiring strong business acumen, hands-on regional market experience, and extensive travel across Asia Pacific.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Asia Pacific sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, market share, and business growth targets.
  • Lead and manage sales teams across Asia Pacific, ensuring strong pipeline management, sales discipline, forecasting, and country-level execution.
  • Drive direct sales, key account development, tender opportunities, and contract negotiations with customers in the construction and mining industries.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen dealer, distributor, and partner networks across the region to expand market coverage and improve sales performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and country-specific opportunities to support business planning and product positioning.
  • Lead and develop the Singapore-based aftersales service and parts sales teams to grow service revenue, parts sales, customer satisfaction, and equipment lifecycle support.
  • Represent the company in customer visits, dealer meetings, exhibitions, and regional business reviews, with extensive travel across Asia Pacific expected.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 12 years of sales or commercial leadership experience, preferably in heavy machinery, construction equipment, mining equipment, or industrial capital equipment.
  • Proven experience managing regional sales teams across multiple Asia Pacific markets and working with dealers, distributors, and key customers.
  • Strong track record in achieving sales targets, expanding markets, developing key accounts, and driving profitable business growth.
  • Good understanding of aftersales service and parts sales operations, including service revenue, spare parts sales, warranty support, and customer uptime.
  • Strong leadership, commercial acumen, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Based in Singapore, with willingness and ability to travel extensively across Asia Pacific. Fluency in English is required; additional Asian languages would be an advantage.
