Job Scope
- Purchase, setup, install and/or support all servers, workstations and laptop, and office network, telecommunications and other peripheral hardware in a networked environment at all company site within the region. Include hardware and operating system software support
- Maintain WAN and internet connectivity of all company sites within the region, including Active Directory access, connectivity to corporate WAN, maintenance of regional user accounts, and maintenance of regional network resources
- Oversees troubleshooting, systems backup, archiving and disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain system documentation
- Oversees all help desk activities at the region level
- Provide end-user software support for Words, Excel, PowerPoint and other third-party productivity and utility software
- Ensure proper licensing of all software
- Citrix client support
- Install and test approved software and software upgrades in the network environment
- Maintain network maps of all sites
- Select, liaise with and monitor the performance of IT suppliers that may be utilized for a variety of IT services (e.g. ISP, hardware purchases, consulting etc.)
- Setup and maintain all office security system and telecommunication system, including routing for seating assignments
- International travel to all sites within the region as and when required, approved by the requesting manager with approval by Director and by Regional Director
- Performs other duties as assigned by Group Chief Information Officer
Requirement
- Degree in Computer Science /Information Technology or equivalent
- 2 - 4 years of working experience in handling server and computer network, network administration and network installation
