Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to partner business leaders in Singapore to deliver a strong, consistent people agenda. This is a business-partnering-first role, responsible for enabling leader effectiveness, performance, engagement, and employee relations across the employee lifecycle. Talent Acquisition is a secondary but important component, supporting workforce plans and ensuring the business attracts the right talent for priority roles.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering (Primary)

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned business units, aligning people strategy and day-to-day HR execution with business objectives and operating rhythm.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and managers; provide pragmatic, data-informed counsel on organization effectiveness, team health, and people decisions.
  • Partner leaders on workforce planning, headcount strategy, and talent mapping; support org changes and role design to meet growth and productivity needs.
  • Drive manager capability by coaching on core people practices including leadership behaviors, employee engagement, feedback, and team development.
  • Own employee relations cases end-to-end: assess risk, advise on appropriate actions, guide investigations/disciplinary processes as applicable, and ensure consistent documentation and outcomes in line with Singapore employment practices and internal policy.
  • Enable effective performance management: goal setting, review cycles, calibration support, performance improvement actions, and development planning.
  • Support retention and engagement through insights and action planning (e.g., trend analysis, pulse results, stay/exit themes), partnering leaders to implement interventions.
  • Partner with HR colleagues/COEs to implement HR programs and policy rollouts effectively; identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen HR service delivery.

Talent Acquisition (Secondary)

  • Partner hiring managers to define role requirements and success profiles, ensuring hiring decisions support short-term delivery needs and long-term capability building.
  • Support end-to-end hiring for assigned and/or priority roles as needed: intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, selection support, offer process, and onboarding handover.
  • Provide talent market and compensation insights to guide hiring strategy, manage expectations, and improve time-to-fill and quality of hire.
  • Build proactive pipelines for critical roles through sourcing channels (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, targeted outreach) and maintain a ready talent bench.
  • Champion a strong candidate experience through clear communication, process rigor, and consistent stakeholder management; support employer branding initiatives in partnership with relevant teams where applicable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, with strong, demonstrated HRBP capability; Talent Acquisition experience (23 years) is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to partner and influence senior stakeholders, translate business priorities into people actions, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore employment legislation, employee relations practices, and HR policy application.
  • Hands-on experience supporting performance management, manager coaching, and organizational or workforce planning initiatives.
  • Recruitment experience across multiple levels, including sourcing via job boards and social platforms; comfortable advising on selection and hiring decisions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, discretion, and judgment.

Preferred Attributes

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment; able to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Analytical and solutions-oriented; able to use data and insights to inform recommendations.
  • Familiar with HRIS/ATS systems and modern HR/recruitment tools.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and committed to improving ways of working.
