Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with the CEO and senior management team to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with regional business objectives across Singapore and Malaysia.
- Provide strategic guidance on organization structure, workforce planning, and leadership development to support business expansion.
- Drive transformation initiatives to improve employee engagement, productivity, and organizational agility.
Business Partnering:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on people-related strategies, including talent development, workforce planning, and succession management.
- Translate business needs into actionable HR solutions that enhance performance, engagement, and retention.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure HR practices and policies are aligned with both local and regional requirements.
Talent & Performance Management
- Lead recruitment and talent development programs to attract, retain, and grow key talent across the region.
- Implement performance management frameworks that foster accountability and continuous improvement.
- Promote a learning and growth-oriented culture through structured development programs.
Compensation & Rewards:
- Oversee regional compensation strategies to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Partner with department heads to manage annual salary reviews, incentive programs, bonuses and budgeting.
Compliance & Employee Relations:
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws and regulations in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Build a positive employee relationships, proactively managing issues to ensure fair and consistent positive outcomes.
- Lead HR audits, policy reviews, and process standardization across region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience as a HR Director, HRBP or regional leadership role.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, employment law, and talent strategies in Southeast Asia is a plus.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across business functions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in logistics, or construction sectors will be highly advantageous.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
