A Regional Manager of Human Resources & Administration is a senior HR leader responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies & administration process across a specific region or multiple locations. The candidate focuses on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring full compliance with labor laws. He/she oversees the planning, coordination and management of all administrative procedures and systems.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute HR strategies for the region, including workforce planning, talent management, and capacity development.
- HR Operations: Oversee and manage HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement.
- Administration Operation: Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company. Office and capacity planning including facilities services and maintenance. Organize and supervise other office activities.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international labor laws and regulations.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop a team of HR professionals & Administrative staff, providing guidance and support.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with senior management and business leaders to align HR initiatives and company workflow with organizational goals.
- Employee Relations: Address employee relations issues and ensure a positive workplace culture.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR & Administration budget for the region.
- Data Analysis: Analyze HR & Office data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in HR management, preferably with experience in a regional or international capacity.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Ability to manage and develop teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HR systems, workflow management and tools.
- Knowledge & experience in ISO certification is an added advantage.
