Regional Head of Supply Chain

The Role

As Regional Head of Supply Chain, you'll take the lead on LSH's regional purchasing, procurement, logistics and supply chain operations, driving greater integration & synergies, total efficiency and performance across multiple markets, Business Units and entities.

You'll work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen supplier and logistics management, optimise inventory and working capital, and build a more scalable, connected supply chain platform. Just as importantly, you'll transform the team itself developing capabilities, improving ways of working, and building a high-performance supply chain culture that the whole organisation can be proud of.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Supply Chain Leadership

• Develop and execute regional supply chain strategies aligned with LSH's business and growth objectives.
• Lead and coordinate purchasing, logistics, manufacturing and supply chain team's activities across Singapore, China, Malaysia, Indonesia and other markets.
• Introduce industry-leading practices and benchmarks to continuously raise the bar on supply chain performance.
• Partner with business units, Finance, Sales, Operations and other stakeholders to strengthen overall supply chain performance.
• Provide monthly reporting to the COO on regional supply chain performance.

Sourcing & Procurement

• Lead regional sourcing and procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation of pricing and payment terms.
• Strengthen supplier relationships, commercial terms and procurement governance to improve cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
• Identify opportunities for strategic sourcing, consolidation and regional procurement.

Logistics & Distribution

• Oversee regional logistics, freight, warehousing and distribution activities.
• Optimise transportation and logistics costs while maintaining strong service levels and delivery reliability.
• Improve cross-border logistics processes and coordination across trading, manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Manage supply chain risks and put in place contingency and business continuity plans.

Inventory & Supply Chain Optimisation

• Drive improvements in inventory planning, availability and working capital.
• Establish clear supply chain KPIs and performance measures.
• Use data and market insights to uncover opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Improve end-to-end visibility and collaboration across the supply chain.

Team Transformation & Development

• Lead the transformation of the regional supply chain team capabilities, processes and ways of working.
• Build a high-performing, accountable supply chain culture.
• Coach and develop supply chain leaders and team members across the region.
• Identify capability gaps and put development and succession plans in place.
• Champion change management to ensure new processes and systems are adopted smoothly and effectively.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business, Operations or a related field.
• Significant experience in purchasing/procurement and logistics management, ideally with regional responsibility across multiple countries or markets.
• Experience in relevant industries such as chemicals, tyres, food ingredients, and flavours & fragrances.
• Familiarity managing cross-border manufacturing, trading or distribution businesses will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience leading team transformation, organisational change and capability building.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in supplier negotiation, cost management and supply chain optimisation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across different markets.
• Multi-lingual capability in English and a regional language such as Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia or Bahasa Malay is an advantage, given the role's regular engagement across LSH's regional markets.
• Willingness to travel across regional markets as required.
• Compensation will be commensurate with the market and will be based on the hiring location.
