Our client is one of the leading players in the Semiconductor sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Quality Director to be part of their Quality team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the East easily accessible.
Responsibilities of Quality Director:
- QMS Strategy & Compliance: Develop and lead the quality strategy in line with business goals. Maintain QMS effectiveness and compliance with ISO and relevant standards.
- Policies & Standards: Set and enforce company-wide quality policies and procedures. Regularly update them to reflect regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Audits & Certifications: Conduct internal and supplier audits. Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain all required certifications.
- Supplier Quality: Oversee supplier quality programs. Collaborate with procurement on vendor assessments and material quality requirements.
- Product Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance and testing processes to ensure product specifications and performance expectations are met.
- Performance Monitoring: Define and track key quality KPIs. Report trends and improvement opportunities to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement initiatives using tools like Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA to enhance product and process quality.
- Customer Focus: Work closely with sales and business teams to align quality efforts with customer needs. Manage and resolve customer quality concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in engineering field
- Min 10 years of quality experience in equipment manufacturing industry
- Six Sigma certification
- Comprehensive experience of all quality management functions
- Comfortable to travel to overseas plants
