Job Description

Our client is a MNC in Manufacturing. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Regional Finance Manager to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.

Responsibilities for Regional Finance Manager:

Act as a strategic finance business partner to subsidiary business leaders and Finance & Accounting teams, providing commercial insights and perspectives that extend beyond traditional finance and accounting functions.
Lead the development and implementation of strategic Finance & Accounting initiatives in alignment with the Group's mid-term plans, transformation agenda, and regional finance objectives.
Establish and maintain clear, consistent, and effective Finance & Accounting policies, processes, and practices, including robust internal controls, in compliance with corporate requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
Collaborate closely with the Finance & Accounting Division to ensure that Group finance policies, programs, and initiatives are aligned with business requirements and effectively implemented across the region.
Lead and oversee finance-related strategic projects, including acquisitions, spin-offs, business redeployment, mergers, joint ventures, and other corporate restructuring initiatives.
Provide strong financial controllership and oversight over operational activities and risks across Finance & Accounting, Treasury, and Order Management, ensuring operational effectiveness, accuracy, and strong governance standards.
Review and evaluate financial statements, management reports, financial processes, and controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements. Identify potential financial risks and develop appropriate preventive and mitigating measures to safeguard the company's financial position.
Lead the financial forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and planning processes, providing meaningful analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
Oversee the year-end audit process, impairment assessments, and resolution of audit matters, ensuring timely completion and sign-off of audited financial statements.
Develop and implement effective tax strategies while providing guidance on tax implications and potential tax risks arising from business initiatives. Ensure accurate and timely compliance with corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing documentation, and other applicable tax requirements.
Oversee treasury and liquidity management activities, including cash flow, foreign exchange, debt, and capital management. Evaluate funding alternatives and financial strategies to optimize costs and enhance the company's financial position and risk management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Finance & Planning Division, ensuring the achievement of divisional objectives, priorities, and responsibilities.
Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to Finance & Planning team members in and Finance teams across other group companies in the region.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or in relevant fields
10 years experience in finance and accounting, including tax, with sound strategic planning and management experience.
Familiar with Accounting & Tax, Audit & Treasury
