Regional Finance Manager

Our Client

Our client is a leading international professional services firm with a strong global presence and an established APAC operation.

This is a confidential succession appointment, with the current Finance Manager preparing to retire. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Financial Controller, APAC, the successful candidate will have responsibility for finance operations across Singapore, Sydney and Seoul.

This is a broad regional role combining financial management, commercial business partnering, regulatory compliance and team leadership, with significant interaction with senior stakeholders and partners across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Singapore finance team, ensuring strong financial controls, effective processes and continued professional development.
• Oversee finance operations across Singapore, Sydney and Seoul, working closely with local and regional stakeholders.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury and month-end activities.
• Oversee billing, accounts receivable and payable, WIP, credit control and debtor management.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to support business and strategic decision-making.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and partners on pricing, profitability, utilisation and financial performance.
• Manage Singapore payroll, CPF, GST, tax and statutory reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements and client-money obligations.
• Act as a key point of contact for auditors, tax advisers, banks and other external service providers.
• Drive improvements to finance processes, controls and cross-border operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with the APAC and global finance teams to maintain consistent reporting and financial standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Sydney and Seoul to support consistent accounting and regulatory practices across the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 7+ years experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacity.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Professional services experience, ideally within a law firm or partnership environment, would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax, GST and statutory requirements.
• Proven experience across financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and compliance.
• Experience managing or overseeing finance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability, with the confidence to challenge existing practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior business leaders and partners.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and regulatory matters for non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with financial systems such as Aderant, Power BI and advanced Excel would be beneficial.

This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take on regional responsibility across three APAC markets, combining hands-on financial leadership with commercial business partnering and strategic stakeholder engagement.
