Job Responsibilities
- Perform service and repair on all makes and types of industrial gearboxes and power transmission equipment
- Strip, clean, inspect, repair, test-run, report, assemble, and pack equipment
- Diagnose and establish root causes for faults in industrial and wind power transmission systems with minimal supervision
- Provide technical guidance to customers and colleagues to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety regulations
- Travel frequently to client sites for field service and support
- Participate in ongoing learning and development, including OEM training
Job Requirement
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
- Industry knowledge and technical expertise
- Excellent customer service skills
- Safety-conscious with thorough understanding of work safety standards
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use workshop measuring equipment
- Results-driven with effective workload management skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Dedicated, reliable, and able to work well in a team
