Xinhe Global was created to extend the Group's reach into global commodity markets, with a focus on physical trading, logistics, and integrated supply chain solutions across a wide range of products - including both bulk and soft commodities.

Backed by the strong financial foundation and operational experience of our parent company, we are building a professional and agile platform to connect suppliers, customers, and partners through efficient, reliable, and scalable commodity flows.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing commodity deals while building long-term relationships with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and trade physical and paper commodities (coal, iron ore) in international market.
  • Identify profitable trading opportunities and assess market risks.
  • Lead business development efforts by building and nurturing relationships with suppliers, customers, and partners to expand the company's market presence.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of delivery in collaboration with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor and manage logistical operations, including freight, storage, blending, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (risk, finance, operations) to ensure accurate reporting and settlement.
  • Resolve demurrage, claim, and disputes with operations.
  • Stay updated with relevant market data, publications, news, and analytics tools
  • Monitor market trends, conduct research, and provide strategic insights to support growth.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, chartering fundamentals, laycan scheduling, and the handling of demurrage and claims - with the ability to manage and negotiate these elements confidently throughout the trade execution process.
  • Solid negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in international trade, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Strong capability to enhance cost efficiency across the supply chain by optimizing freight, quality, and timing considerations
  • Strong operational interface across shipping, contracts, documentation, and settlement.
  • Proven track record of profitable trading performance
