The Regional Business Development Manager (Logistics) is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and developing strategic customer relationships across an assigned region. This role focuses on selling end-to-end logistics solutions, including freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and value-added services, while aligning regional activities with overall business objectives.
Develop and execute regional business development strategies to grow logistics services revenue
Identify new business opportunities across industries such as FMCG, e-commerce, manufacturing, retail, and automotive
Expand market penetration for freight (air, sea, land), warehousing, and supply chain solutions
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and customer needs
Acquire new customers and grow existing accounts within the assigned region
Prepare and present customized logistics solutions and commercial proposals
Lead contract negotiations, tenders, and RFQs/RFPs
Achieve and exceed regional sales targets, margins, and volume commitments
Build long-term relationships with key shippers, partners, agents, and regional stakeholders
Act as the primary commercial contact for strategic and high-value accounts
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure service quality, SLA compliance, and customer satisfaction
Work closely with operations, pricing, customer service, and finance teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Support onboarding of new customers and smooth handover from sales to operations
Collaborate on service improvements, capacity planning, and cost optimization initiatives
Manage regional sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM updates
Track and report on KPIs such as revenue, gross margin, volume, and customer retention
Provide regular business reviews and strategic insights to senior management
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
5-8+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain business development
Strong understanding of logistics services (air/sea freight, trucking, warehousing, customs clearance)
Proven track record in B2B sales and key account management
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Willingness to travel within the region
