about the job

As a Business Development Executive/Senior Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the brand's international expansion. This is a hybrid role involving strategic planning, hands-on distributor management, and market development.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Market Expansion: Planning 1 to 2 year strategic roadmaps for new and existing markets to ensure consistent growth.
  • Revenue Growth: Identifying new opportunities through product innovation, OEM collaborations, and localized marketing efforts.
  • Commercial Management: Overseeing sales forecasts, marketing budgets, and ensuring social media strategies align with market goals.
  • Relationship Management: Acting as the primary bridge between HQ and regional partners you will lead quarterly reviews and motivate distributors to hit execution targets.
  • On-the-Ground Presence: This role offers significant regional exposure, requiring travel to support local product registrations and business implementation.

skills and experience required

We are looking for a hungry and adaptable individual who is ready to hit the ground running.

  • A University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in distributor sales / food or FMCG business development.
  • You might be required to travel and potentially stay overseas to support market launches.
  • Negotiation and communication skills are a must, alongside a customer-centric mindset.
  • Business planning skills with the ability to look at data and translate it into actionable sales strategies.
  • A builder attitude - you are comfortable working under pressure and can adapt quickly when plans change.
