We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic leader to own and drive ourbusiness growth across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand. Thisrole is not simply a channel management position it is a Growth & ProfitOwner role with a core mandate to build brand equity, establish marketleadership, and achieve aggressive financial targets. The successful candidatewill be responsible for crafting and executing the integrated regional strategy,with a particular emphasis on elevating brand positioning and acceleratingmarket penetration, especially in Australia. You will build and lead the localteam, manage P&L, and act as the primary architect of our commercialsuccess in this strategic region.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Business Planning: Develop and implement the overarching business strategy for Singapore, Malaysia, and ANZ. Formulate annual operating plans, financial budgets, and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies that align with corporate objectives, focusing on sustainable market share and profit growth.
- Full P&L & Financial Management: Own the regional P&L. Manage the budget, ensure efficient resource allocation, and drive profitability. Key performance indicators includeachieving a 40% annual business growth and maintaining a minimum 20% grossmargin.
- Channel Development & Sales Leadership: Identify, establish, and manage strategic partnerships with key distributors, retailers (e.g., JB Hi-Fi),, and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon). Set ambitious sales targets, oversee sales operations, and optimize channelperformance to maximize revenue and coverage.
- GTM Execution & Brand Building: Lead end-to-end product launches and lifecycle management. Develop and execute integrated marketing plans to transform brand perception from value-for-money to a premium contender, thereby increasing average selling price (ASP) and market share.
- Market Expansion & New Business Development: Conduct deep market analysis to identify white-space opportunities. Spearhead new market entry initiatives and drive category expansion to build a robust and diversified business portfolio.
- Team Building & Leadership: Establish, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional sales and marketing team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuousimprovement.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key external partners (distributors, retailers, agencies) and internal cross-functional teams (Global Marketing, Product, Finance, Supply Chain) to ensure seamless strategy execution.
- Business Operations & Analysis: Monitor regional sales performance, market dynamics, and financial metrics (GMV, Marginal Profit). Utilize data-driven insights to make strategicadjustments, allocate resources effectively, and ensure the achievement of business targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field or equivalent practical experience demonstrating commercial acumen.
- Fluency in English is required fluency in spoken Mandarin is preferred to liaise with Chinese counterparts
- Preferably of 8-10 years of experience in channel sales, trade marketing, or business development, with at least 5 years in a regional management role covering SEA or APAC markets.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful market entry or turnaround strategies, with experience in building brand equity and achieving market leadership.
- Strong expertise in managing complex distributor and retailer relationships, both online and offline.
