My client is a leading regional organization headquartered in Singapore, currently embarking on a large-scale digital transformation journey with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). As part of their growth strategy, they are building an internal ERP team to lead the implementation and rollout of D365 F&O across multiple entities in Asia. This in-house role offers the opportunity to shape the ERP landscape, streamline operations, and support long-term business expansion.
Responsibilities
Job Scope:
As a Business Analyst (Finance & Supply Chain), you will play a key role in the successful regional rollout and adoption of D365 F&O. You will partner closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure Finance and Supply Chain processes are optimized and aligned with best practices. Your scope will cover entities across Asia, making this a highly impactful regional position.
- Partnering with Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements across multiple entities.
- Conducting fit-gap analysis and translating business needs into functional specifications within D365 F&O.
- Configuring and supporting Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash & Bank, Project Accounting) and Supply Chain modules (Procurement, Inventory, Sales & Distribution, Warehousing).
- Leading workshops, process design sessions, and solution walkthroughs with business users and key stakeholders.
- Supporting system rollout activities, ensuring successful deployment across multiple entities in the region.
- Preparing and maintaining functional documentation including FDDs, process maps, test scripts, and user guides.
- Coordinating and supporting testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression), ensuring solutions meet both local and regional requirements.
- Delivering training sessions and knowledge transfer to Finance and Supply Chain teams across Asia.
- Acting as Tier-2 functional support post-implementation, ensuring timely resolution of issues and process continuity.
- Collaborating with internal IT and external vendors/partners to ensure smooth integration with other systems and third-party applications.
- Staying updated with Microsoft D365 F&O releases and recommending system or process enhancements.
What We're Looking For:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in D365 F&O (or Dynamics AX) implementations.
- Strong functional expertise in Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash & Bank, Project Accounting) and Supply Chain modules (Procurement, Inventory, Sales & Distribution, Warehousing).
- Experience in regional ERP rollouts involving multiple entities/countries.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to bridge business and IT.
- Hands-on experience across the full ERP project lifecycle requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS) and data migration processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity, regional environment.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certifications in Finance or Supply Chain (preferred but not mandatory).
