Regional BCM Lead - Asia & Oceania (Associate Director)

About the Role:

Our client are seeking an experienced Business Continuity Management (BCM) professional to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of our Operational Resilience framework across Asia & Oceania. In this sole-contributor role, you will ensure alignment with group policies and regulatory requirements while driving a culture of resilience across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain regional BCM policy, framework, and minimum standards
• Ensure alignment with MAS, SFC, and other regional regulatory expectations
• Act as regional subject-matter expert for regulatory engagements, inspections, and audits
• Establish governance structures, committees, and reporting standards
• Set region-wide standards for Business Impact Assessments (BIA), BCPs, and Crisis Management
• Design and deliver annual BCM testing and exercise programmes
• Provide advisory support and training to senior management and local BCM coordinators

Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in BCM or Operational Resilience within financial services
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing BCM frameworks, crisis management protocols, and testing programmes
• Proven ability to operate independently in a regional role
• Experience engaging with regulators and supporting audits
• Strong policy design, regulatory interpretation, and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, methodical, and audit-defensible approach
