Regional Assistant HR Director (Ref: KH)

The mission of this role is to enhance the people capabilities of the company and support strategic business transformation by providing viable HR solutions that support the development and deployment of business strategies throughout the organisation. As an experienced HR professional, the successful candidate is expected to be hands-on with a strategic mindset and act as a change agent and trusted advisor to business leaders.

The Job Overview

The successful candidate will oversee core Human Resource functions, including but not limited to the following:

• Develop the People Strategy and Agenda

• Facilitate the People Plan process and work closely with business leaders

• Build the knowledge of the business managers and employees in implementing HR core processes and rolling out programs and projects

• Workforce development and Talent Management

• Identify potential leaders and develop them.

• Develop and implement succession ladders and plans

• Manage projects within a transformational change program, linking and integrating with existing projects

• Effectively manage internal stakeholders to build effective enduring relationships and provide high-quality professional services to support business strategies and plans

• Investigate, document and make recommendations for complex employee relations cases (both individual and collective) in liaison with the Legal & Compliance team.

The Candidate

● At least a Bachelor's degree with minimum 12 - 20 years of HR partnership experience including 7 years of managerial, strategic and operational people management experience in a regional capacity.

● Candidates with experience dealing with Mergers and Acquisitions (M & A) are preferred.

● Strong organizational and execution skills

● Good communication and stakeholder management skills

● Structured and detail-oriented with the ability to follow through to completion

● Analytical mindset and comfortable working with data

● Collaborative, pro-active and team-oriented
