Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, and some others prism products
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, including mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant related problems
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, and fans
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
- Conduct system tests to verify performance, temperature control, and refrigerant levels
- Calibrate temperature controls, thermostats, and pressure switches as needed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards for handling refrigerants and electrical systems
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Stay updated with advancements in refrigeration technology, industry trends, and best practices
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects and assignments
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior/or manager
Requirements:
- Min O-Level or equivalent. Relevant certifications or vocational training is a plus
- Min 2 years experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Possess Class 3 License would be an added advantage.
