Job Role:- Red Hat Linux Engineer

Job Location:- Singapore

Experience:- 8-12 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
• Perform patch assessment, security updates, vulnerability remediation and OS upgrades.
• Plan and execute patch deployments using BigFix, SCCM or similar tools.
• Conduct pre- and post-patching checks, troubleshooting and rollback activities.
• Automate patching tasks using shell scripting or other suitable tools.
• Monitor system logs, availability and compliance; maintain operational reports and documentation.
• Follow change management procedures and provide scheduled and on-call support as required.

Skills & Requirements:-

• 812 years of Linux/Unix system administration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Mandatory experience in OS patching, vulnerability management and security remediation.
• Experience with BigFix, SCCM or similar patch management tools.
• Knowledge of shell scripting, clustering, RAID and hardware/firmware patching.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and incident management skills.
• Willingness to support scheduled maintenance, weekend rosters and on-call duties.
