About the Job
The Recruitment Officer will play a vital role in raising public awareness about fostering and supporting the recruitment and assessment of foster parents. This position is suited to a committed and passionateindividual who is motivated to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
Job Scope
- Plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events to recruit new foster parents
- Identify appropriate outreach channels and opportunities for collaboration with partners who can aid the Fostering Agency in its outreach efforts
- Create and design content to raise public awareness about fostering
- Manage public enquiries about the Fostering Scheme and conduct assessments of foster parent candidates
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Recruitment Officer and other staff in the fostering agency team
Requirements
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Proficiency in social media management and design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Some experience in project and event management will be beneficial
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work on weekends and evenings when required (Time-off will be given)
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma, with preferably a minimum 2 years of experience in the social service sector
