Role Overview

  • As a 360 Recruitment Consultant - Professional & Corporate Services, you will take full ownership of a specialist desk covering functions such as Accounting & Finance, HR, Legal, Business Support, Corporate Services, and related white‑collar roles.
  • This is a commercial, revenue‑driven 360 role where you are responsible for originating client relationships, winning mandates, and delivering permanent placements end‑to‑end. You will be expected to operate with strong market knowledge, urgency, and a clear bias toward closing.
  • You will run your desk as a business - hunting for opportunities, controlling client relationships, managing candidates, and driving billings within the Professional & Corporate Services market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and approach organisations hiring across Professional & Corporate Services functions through cold calling, referrals, and market mapping.
  • Win new mandates for roles such as finance professionals, HR practitioners, legal and compliance staff, and corporate support functions.
  • Pitch Tangspac Search as a specialist recruitment partner with deep understanding of corporate hiring needs.
  • Negotiate fees, exclusivity, and retained assignments with hiring managers and decision‑makers.
  • Build a sustainable book of business with recurring revenue from Professional & Corporate Services clients.
  • Take full ownership of client relationships within assigned Professional & Corporate Services sectors.
  • Conduct detailed job briefings to understand organisational structure, reporting lines, and functional requirements.
  • Advise clients on salary benchmarks, candidate availability, and hiring risks within the corporate market.
  • Manage hiring processes assertively to drive timely decisions and successful closures.
  • Source and engage qualified professionals across accounting, HR, legal, business support, and corporate services disciplines.
  • Conduct in‑depth interviews assessing technical competency, cultural fit, and career drivers.
  • Present decisive shortlists with clear market insights and recommendations.
  • Manage interview processes, offer negotiations, counter‑offers, and candidate closures with urgency.
  • Build and maintain a live pipeline of Professional & Corporate Services candidates aligned to active mandates.
  • Stay current on corporate hiring trends, salary movements, and competitor activity.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs for revenue, placements, and business development activity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of recruitment consulting or relevant client‑facing experience.
  • Proven ability to manage recruitment assignments independently.
  • Comfortable engaging clients and candidates in a professional, consultative manner.
  • Commercial awareness with a focus on sustainable relationships.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Recruitment agency experience is preferred.
  • CEI Certified
