Providing frontline reception services by attending to walk-in parents, students, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Managing the school's general telephone enquiries promptly
Monitoring, managing, and responding to the school's generic email account, including routing enquiries to the appropriate personnel and ensuring timely follow-up
Providing administrative support such as data entry, filing, document preparation, maintenance of records, report books, school organisation chart, stationery arrangement for teachers, teachers mail boxes and etc
Attending to students who are unwell or injured, providing basic care and first aid where necessary, and escalating cases to the appropriate school personnel in accordance with school procedures
Handle/support situation when students vomit, soiled their clothes and etc
Being required to attend and maintain certification in relevant first aid training, as stipulated by the school or MOE
Supporting school operations during school events, peak periods, P1 registration / Orientation and other events as directed by the school administration
Assist Goods/Services Receipt Officer (GRO) with goods handling collection of forms (eg. class photos etc) and issuing of items when requested by school.
Disseminate incoming mails, letters, documents and messages to teachers & staff promptly.
Carrying out any other duties assigned by the School Leaders or Administration Team to support the overall operations of the school
The Receptionist is expected to uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and service excellence while interacting with all stakeholders in the school environment.
Requirements:
Minimum GCE O/N Level or Nitec qualification
Experience working in a school setting will be a plus
At least 1 year of experience in reception, customer service, or administrative support
Comfortable working with basic IT softwares such as MS Office, Excel and AI tools
Knowledge of basic first aid would be an advantage
