Contract Period: From 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027.
Working hours:
. Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 2:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
. Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
. The working hours may be adjusted as necessary to meet the operational needs of the school.
Scope of Services:
Daily Duties:
. Providing frontline reception services by attending to walk-in parents, students, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
. Managing the school's general telephone enquiries promptly.
. Attending to students who are unwell or injured, providing basic care and first aid where necessary, and escalating cases to the appropriate school personnel in accordance with school procedures.
. Handle/support situation when students vomit, soiled their clothes and etc.
. Assist Goods/Services Receipt Officer (GRO) with goods handling collection of forms (eg. class photos etc) and issuing of items when requested by school.
Other Administrative Support:
. Perform data entry, maintain proper records, and carry out photocopying and document handling duties as required.
. Administer and maintain proper recordsof lost-and-found items.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
. Possession of a valid and current First Aid certification (Standard or Child First Aid) is preferred.
. Prior experience in receptionist, front-line, or customer service roles is preferred.
. Comfortable working in a school environment with children aged 7- 12 years.
. Able to manage challenging or anxious situations reliable, punctual, and committed to assigned duties.
. Preferably holds a minimum qualification of GCE O Level or equivalent.
. Preferably has at least three (3) years of experience working in a primary school environment.
. Preferably proficient in spoken English and a Mother Tongue language (Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil).
. Possesses a pleasant personality and demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a team.
. Proficient in office and IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel and Word), telephone handling, email communication, and basic record-keeping.
