Aim of the Position

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all finance-related matters for Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) Asia Pacific, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cost management, and performance reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance point of contact for Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) across the Asia Pacific region.
• Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the regional real estate portfolio, including variance analysis, identification of financial risks and opportunities, and recommendations for corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports and management insights on the performance of real estate activities across the region.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, transparency, and data quality.
• Develop and evaluate business cases for real estate projects (CAPEX and OPEX), ensuring compliance with global financial guidelines and strategic objectives, while monitoring costs and project performance to maintain financial discipline.
• Provide financial support and analysis for real estate transactions, including leases, acquisitions, disposals, and other portfolio-related initiatives.
• Coordinate real estate risk management activities across the region, including the development and enhancement of valuation methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Advise and partner with stakeholders on real estate transactions, ensuring alignment with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS and relevant local GAAP requirements.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Management, or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on transactions, including at least 3 years in a multinational company environment.
• Proven ability to operate effectively within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across functions and geographies.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting financial data, real estate portfolios, and contractual agreements to support business decisions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
