Job Responsibilities :
The position has a front row seat to impact our Razer Gold product. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner - Tax & Pricing to is responsible for defining and driving the global tax, pricing, and billing strategy across Razer Gold's payment ecosystem. This role bridges business, tax, finance, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure tax accuracy, competitive pricing, and regulatory compliance in all supported markets. The ideal candidate combines strong product management skills with a deep understanding of global digital commerce, tax systems, and monetization models.You should be:

Summary
The position has a front-row seat to shaping and scaling the Razer Gold ecosystem. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner - Razer Pay to lead the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of our global payment capabilities.
You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle across payment acceptance, PSP integrations, payment methods, MoR, settlement, reconciliation, refunds, and chargebacks. You will work closely with Engineering, Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Business teams, and external payment partners to deliver scalable, secure, compliant, and cost-effective payment solutions across Razer Gold B2C and B2B businesses.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem, understands both business and technical requirements, and can translate complex payment and commercial needs into scalable product solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term product vision, strategy your pillar and create and execute on a compelling roadmap.
- Build deep user empathy with both Razer Gold's merchants and financial partners, understanding global payment industry trends and competitors offerings to influence the Razer Pay roadmap effectively.
- Own payment capabilities across PSPs, payment methods, currencies, regions, and merchant accounts/MIDs.
- Lead PSP integrations and payment orchestration, including payment routing, transaction processing, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Own product requirements for MoR, including legal entity, tax, payment, and settlement considerations.
- Drive settlement, reconciliation, reporting, and payment operations improvements with Finance and Operations.
- Partner with Legal, Tax, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure payment solutions meet regulatory and security requirements.
- Gather requirements, prioritize the backlog, define user stories and acceptance criteria, and work closely with Engineering through delivery.
- Monitor payment KPIs such as payment success rate, conversion, processing cost, failure rate, and settlement performance.
- Use data and market insights to identify opportunities to improve payment performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships and alignment with external PSPs and payment partners.
- Ensure we are building a reliable, performant platform, including system reliability, API extensibility, and latency.
- Use metrics to inform your point of view and leverage analytics to measure success.
Pre-Requisites :
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 7-12+ years of industry experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Payments, Fintech, or a related field(does not include internships or co-ops).m
- Strong understanding of payment gateways, PSPs, payment methods, payment orchestration, settlement, reconciliation, refunds, and chargebacks.
- Working experience with Merchant of Record (MoR), cross-border payments, or regional payment operations is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of payment APIs, integrations, and technical architecture.
- Demonstrated experience partnering closely with engineers, designers, and external partners to build products and complex systems at scale.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for precise and concise articulation of user problems.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience defining and tracking success metrics, running experiments (e.g., holdback tests), and using data to measure product impact on revenue, conversion, and margins.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with significant autonomy and responsibility.
- Strong business acumen and comfort with complex ecosystem and platform-level problems.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in e-commerce, digital wallet, gaming, or digital content is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of payment regulations and security standards such as PCI DSS, PSD2/SCA, AML/KYC, and data protection is a plus.
. Entrepreneurial or startup experience is a plus.
. In-depth understanding or working experience in e-commerce & gaming industry is a plus.
