Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including general radiography, portable X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Assist radiologists during interventional procedures and specialized imaging studies.
- Prepare and educate patients prior to imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Monitor image quality and patient safety, adhering to radiation protection and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the hospital information system.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team discussions, case reviews, and clinical audits.
- Contribute to quality improvement, training, and professional development initiatives.
- Uphold professional, ethical, and patient-safety standards in all clinical duties.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hospital or clinical imaging settings preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Experience in hospital-based radiology, including CT, ultrasound, and interventional imaging, is an advantage.
