Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with clinical and safety standards.
- Verify patient identity and ensure procedural consents are completed.
- Ensure optimal image quality before releasing results to doctors or patients.
- Accurately input examination codes and maintain proper documentation.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Uphold radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and the public.
- Provide on-call and after-hours support as required.
- Perform daily equipment quality assurance (QA) checks to maintain optimal function.
- Support departmental operations and assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in diagnostic imaging.
- Candidates with prior experience managing modality areas may be considered for Senior Radiographer positions.
