Radiographer (MRI) - 5.5 day Office Hours

We are seeking an experienced Radiographer with strong foundations in general radiography to join a specialist healthcare setting. This role offers hands-on clinical work combined with leadership exposure, training responsibilities, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography and advanced imaging (MRI) with high clinical accuracy

• Ensure optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of imaging equipment

• Uphold strict radiation safety, infection control, and workplace safety standards

• Deliver professional, prompt, and patient-centred service

• Handle patient enquiries and complaints with confidence and empathy

• Maintain efficient patient turnaround times

• Plan, organise, and prioritise daily workloads effectively

• Train, coach, and mentor junior radiographers

• Motivate and support team members to achieve performance standards

• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Additional Duties

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned imaging section

• Compile and analyse departmental statistics

• Ensure the work environment meets organisational and professional standards

• Support ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting officer

Key Skills & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Radiography or equivalent

• Registered with relevant professional body (where applicable)

• Strong experience in General Radiography

• Hands-on exposure to CT and/or MRI

• Solid understanding of radiation safety and infection control

• Ability to manage patients professionally, including challenging situations

• Team-oriented with leadership and coaching capability
