Perform all diagnostic imaging services according to standards.
Ensure examination is performed to the correct patient and observes radiation safety rule and respective procedural consents.
Ensure the quality of the recording medium and printed copies of images on paper are of optimal quality before releasing to the doctors and patients.
Ensure that the examination code entered into the system corresponds to the examination requested.
Explain the examination to the patient, what the patient will be undergoing and the estimated duration of it.
Ensure patients safety, physical and emotional well-being is taken care of during and after the examination.
Ensure that precautions have been taken to protect patients, staff and public from unnecessary exposure to ionizing radiation.
Perform on-call and after hours duties, when necessary, ensure prompt response which is in line with the prescribed standard of the Hospital.
Perform daily QA procedures on equipment according to manufacturers recommendations to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
Perform any other duties as instructed by the Principal Radiographer, and Manager/Assistant Director of Nursing.

Job Requirements

Bachelors in applied science (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from recognized institutions.
Full-Registration with Allied Health Professions Council.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Radiographer in diagnostic imaging facility.
Experience in angiography/mammography and its related fields is advantageous
