As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Deliver accurate radiation doses using linear accelerators and other equipment.
- Perform CT simulations, construct treatment devices, and implement treatment plans.
- Work closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and nurses in a multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct daily checks on machines and equipment to ensure proper function.
- Create a safe environment, explain procedures, monitor for side effects, and provide comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient responses.
- Adhere strictly to radiation safety, infection control, and departmental protocols.
- Mentor students and participate in research.
Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Radiation Therapy
- Strong background in health sciences, anatomy, physiology, and psychology.
