Our Corporate Coverage team provides clients with holistic solutions to meet their strategic objectives - with full access across the Corporate Bank's product suite as well as the expertise of the Investment Bank.

DB's Coverage teams provide clients with full access to the expertise of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank. Our Non-Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI) Coverage focuses on offering treasury solutions to large Institutional Investors such as Insurers, Financial Sponsors, Asset Managers & Hedge Funds, Market Infrastructure and Sovereign Wealth & Pensions.

Your Role

Deutsche Bank is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its NonBanking Financial Institutions (NBFI) Coverage team in Singapore. As a Junior Coverage Banker (JCB), you will support senior Coverage Bankers in managing key client relationships and delivering highquality client coverage.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely client analysis, compiling competitor and market intelligence, and producing pitch books and other client materials. You will gain handson exposure to origination processes and the Corporate Bank's product offering, while supporting the preparation of internal desk reports and pipeline updates under the guidance of senior bankers.

The role also offers the opportunity to actively participate in client meetings and pitches, providing you with direct exposure to clients and contributing to the development of longterm client relationships.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Coverage Bankers to position Deutsche Bank as the provider of choice, identifying opportunities across products and geographies.

  • Support execution of the NBFI coverage strategy, contributing to growth and client penetration.

  • Develop highquality marketing and client materials to strengthen the NBFI franchise and market presence.

  • Prepare for and participate in client meetings and pitches, supporting relationship management, meeting coordination, and followups.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across regions and product teams to deliver seamless global banking solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of Corporate Bank products and solutions relevant to NBFI clients.

  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to inform client discussions and coverage strategy.

Your skills and experience:

  • At least 4+ years of experience within financial services, preferably gained at a global or regional bank, with demonstrated interest in the NBFI client segment

  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience working with or covering Financial Institutions

  • Proven analytical experience in a banking or financial services environment, with the ability to quickly assimilate complex information and translate insights into clientrelevant analysis.

  • Strong networking and stakeholdermanagement skills, with experience collaborating across product teams, functions, and geographies within a banking organization.

  • Demonstrated project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in a fastpaced environment.

  • Fast learner with a proactive, solutionsoriented mindset and strong problemsolving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and deliver clear clientready presentations.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant financial discipline, or equivalent professional experience in banking or financial services.
