RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and supervise Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Engineering Assistants, Technicians, and Operators to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Perform full hands-on operation, setup, and troubleshooting of Guzik DET machines or equivalent HDD component testing equipment, with strong knowledge of HDD head and media component testing algorithms.
- Ensure consistent machine uptime and adequate manpower planning to support continuous R&D and Mass Production (MP) operations.
- Evaluate new machine technologies to support customer product roadmaps and prepare technical evaluation reports.
- Drive continuous research and development of critical Guzik parameters to support HDD performance improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation of media magnetic properties versus electrical performance.
- Plan and manage direct and indirect materials for budgeting, logistics, and inventory control purposes.
- Coordinate with other Resonac sites for technology and methodology information sharing.
- Ensure compliance with ISO Standard Operating Procedures and safety practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Degree holder with at least 4 years of relevant working experience with electrical /electronic testing scopes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of evaluation and testing techniques.
- Proficient in statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, Spotfire, or equivalent software.
- Knowledge of Visual Basicbased and Python software programming.
- Able to work in a cleanroom-based environment.
