Job Summary
You will enhance, integrate, troubleshoot, design, and test software solutions while providing onsite support and training to clients and colleagues, contributing to the development and maintenance of security system & engineering applications.
Responsibilities
- Enhance existing software by performing integration, troubleshooting, analysis, design, testing, and documentation to improve system functionality
- Provide onsite debugging, integration, troubleshooting, and testing support for existing and new software to ensure operational stability
- Deliver software updates and conduct training sessions for clients, peers, and colleagues across departments to facilitate effective software use
- Develop software components including GUI, drivers, and Linux-based applications to meet project requirements
- Apply programming skills in python, C, C++, and C# to develop and maintain software solutions aligned with company standards
- Utilize .NET framework to build and enhance software applications for security systems
- Implement message queue technologies to support asynchronous communication within software systems
- Manage SQL database server operations and write queries to support data-driven software functionalities
- Generate reports using Crystal Reports to provide actionable insights and documentation
- Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols including RS485 and TCP/IP to ensure reliable device connectivity
- Support software development for security system applications, leveraging domain knowledge to enhance product performance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working with security system software and applications is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related scientific discipline demonstrating strong software development aptitude
- Candidates from other educational backgrounds will be evaluated based on individual technical merit
- Min 2 years of relevant work experience preferred entry-level candidates with strong potential are welcome
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training to develop required skills
