R&D Assistant Project Manager

To assist in all aspects of dyeing and finishing crocodile leather, from developing and testing new recipes to troubleshooting production issues, with the goal of achieving a high-quality end product that meets industry standards.

This involves working with various processes, techniques, and materials, as well as participating in daily production and development activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist in dyeing and finishing methods, including fatliquoring, re-tanning, dyeing and chrome- and metal-free processes and techniques and finishing techniques treating crocodile leather from different species.

Assist in ensuring a high-quality end-product from Crust to Finish, according to the highest industry standards and specific properties.

Assist to develop, improve and test new recipes.

Assist to develop new articles.

Assist to monitor production batches for recipe and process fine tuning.

Troubleshoot production issues, propose and implement action plan.

Plan and monitor development activities for both production orders and R&D projects.

Analyse data and create reports pertaining R&D projects and production topics.

Use the R&D tracker to constantly update, track and archive recipes and samples.

Involved in daily production and development operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

At least 5 years of experience in Tannery

Good communication skills, in both verbal and writing

Technical experience is essential

Knowledge of hazardous substances is essential

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Good color sense

Creative

Able to perform in a high pressure environment with the ability to achieve objectives with tight deadlines
