Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

• Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs.
• Estimate the quantity and costs of materials, labor, and construction equipment.
• Prepare contract documents, including bills of quantities and other relevant details.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with contractors and suppliers.
• Track changes to designs and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Monitor and keep track of progress and contract compliance.
• Conduct site visits to ensure construction complies with the initial specifications and industry standards.
• Manage and process payments and invoices.
• Assess potential risks and work on mitigating them.
• Report on financial status and make forecasts for project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction costs and contracts.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder engagements.
• Detail-oriented and deeply organized.
• Adept in MS Office and Quantity Surveying software.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
