Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor in the Construction industry to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Managing the contractual and financial side of projects such as:-

. Price/forecast the cost of the different materials and cost breakdown needed for the project

. Go through tender documents/specifications and prepare sales quotation

. Carrying out all shop drawings (using Autocad), method statements submission & etc.

. Prepare contracts, budgets, work orders, certificate of release, and other documentation needed for projects

. Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projects accordingly

. Assess and recommend the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project

. Coordinate with the project team to measure and value the work done on-site for the claim submission

. Assess and nominate payments for subcontractors for the work done

. Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers, and site engineers when necessary

. Able to handle and solve issues at the site throughout the whole project.

. Any other quantity surveying related duties and ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Superior.

Requirements:

. Candidate must possess at least a professional certificate/ Nitec/ Diploma/Advanced/ degree holder or equivalent.

. At least 1 year of relevant experience in the Construction industry.

. Proficient in MS Office / AutoCad / Sketch Up/ BIM drawings skills.

. On Job Training will be provided.

. Required language(s): English & Chinese (in order to liaise with English / mandarin speaking contractors and suppliers.)

. Possess Good Initiative and Strong Communication Skills.

. Salary will be offered based on working experience.

. Candidate who is able to start on short notice is preferred.
