Preparing detailed bills of quantities (BOQs) and precise cost estimates for projects related to doors, windows, and aluminium-iron works.
Monitoring, tracking, and updating project budgets to ensure alignment with cost targets and identifying potential cost variances.
Drafting and preparing subcontract agreements, processing payment certificates, and managing related documentation.
Participating in tender briefings, site presentations, and regular project site meetings to provide QS expertise and address cost-related queries.
Ensuring compliance with relevant construction contracts and maintaining a thorough understanding of contractual obligations.
Conducting on-site measurements, performing material quantity calculations, and verifying adherence to project specifications.
Collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients communicating effectively in both English and Mandarin (or other required languages) for daily work interactions.
A formal qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying) is a strong advantage.
Minimum 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying (QS) experience in the doors, windows, or aluminium-iron works sector.
Proficient in BIM, CAD software, and industry-specific quantity surveying/estimating tools (e.g., CostX, PlanSwift).
Familiarity with Singapore's construction industry standards, contract terms
Ability to conduct on-site measurements and accurate material quantity calculations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities to manage cost-related challenges.
