Job Description
. Support the management team in leading the project QS team and preparing cost budgets, cash flows, and claims.
. Ensure timely awarding of subcontracts and supplier agreements, coordinating with the technical team to meet specifications.
. Prepare quantity measurements, drawings, and cost analyses based on project needs.
. Analyze and negotiate quotations, attend site meetings, and review agreements.
. Certify progress work, handle contract variations, and submit monthly progress claims.
. Finalize subcontract and main contract accounts and advise clients on cost feasibility.
. Prepare OMM before project handover, certify final valuations, and act as financial advisors.
. Be ready to work extra hours for urgent projects and perform other assigned duties.
Requirement:
. Degree or Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying with min 3-5 years experience in QS renovation/Interior Design/HDB A&A project.
. Well-versed in both Contracts Administration and Tenders
. Proficient in MS Excel and AutoCAD and the ability to learn new specialist software
. Possess good negotiation and coordination skills
. Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people from all levels.
. Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, good team player and able to meet tight deadlines
. Able to work independently with minimum supervision
