Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Quantity Surveyor to manage the full spectrum of cost and contract administration functions for construction and renovation projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in cost planning, tender management, contract administration, and financial control to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Lead full commercial lifecycle for multiple high-value projects simultaneously, including pre-contract and post-contract phases
Prepare and validate complex BOQs, detailed cost plans, and budget forecasts based on advanced technical drawings and specifications
Conduct comprehensive tender evaluation, negotiation, and award of major subcontract packages
Manage contract administration for multiple contract types including SIA, PSSCOC, FIDIC, NEC, and specialised bespoke contracts
Lead claims management and dispute resolution, including preparation of detailed submissions and negotiation strategies
Assess, approve, and negotiate progress claims, variation orders, final accounts, and entitlement assessments
Establish robust cost control and financial governance frameworks, ensuring accurate forecasting and cash flow management
Provide strategic commercial advice and risk management to senior management and project stakeholders
Conduct complex measurement and verification of works using advanced methodologies
Drive cost optimisation while maintaining strict quality, compliance, and programme standards
Lead and mentor junior QS team members and manage external consultants and subcontractors
Minimum 8-12 years of extensive experience in high-value commercial or industrial projects
Proven track record in complex contract administration and claims management
Strong expertise in multiple contract types (SIA/PSSCOC/FIDIC/NEC)
Demonstrated ability to lead high-stakes commercial negotiations and dispute resolution
Exceptional analytical, commercial, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently with high accountability and minimal supervision
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
