Pre-contract functions involving estimation of project costs, cost planning and control, preparation of tender documents, value engineering exercise, contract documentation and other pre-contract related activities
Post-contract functions involving progress payment valuation and recommendation, valuation of variations, settlement of variation claims with contractors, settlement of final account and other post-contract related activities
Be familiar with the specifications and scope of works at various stages of the project so as to be able to advise the structural, architectural and M&E coordinators
Attend technical meetings to keep abreast of design development issues and provide cost escalation alerts
Job Requirement
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent from a recognized University
Minimum 5 years of experience with a Main Con, preferably for residential projects above $5Mn
Good negotiation, coordination, interpersonal, and communication skills
Meticulous, analytical, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines
Literate with Microsoft Excel, Projects, Word
Ability to start work immediately is highly preferable
