Job Summary
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost estimation, tender submissions, contract administration, and managing project claims.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit detailed tender documentation to support successful project bids
- Manage progress claims and payments, including valuation of variations and final account settlements to ensure accurate financial tracking
- Collaborate effectively with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers, and contractors to certify claims for payments and resolve contract issues
- Administer contracts by monitoring compliance and facilitating communication between stakeholders to mitigate risks and support project delivery
- Apply analytical skills to review project costs and identify opportunities for cost control and optimization
- Work proactively and independently to meet tight deadlines while contributing as a collaborative team member
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a contractor
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience exceeding 2 years, considered for Senior Quantity Surveyor roles
