Key Job Scope and Responsibilities:
Pre-Contract Stage: Preparing preliminary cost estimates, feasibility studies, detailed measurements (taking-off), and producing Bills of Quantities (BQ) for tenders.
Contract Management: Drafting contract documents, negotiating terms with contractors, and providing advice on contract claims and disputes.
Post-Contract (Site) Stage: Performing site valuations to determine work progress, checking inventory, issuing payment certificates for subcontractors, and handling variations.
Cost Control & Reporting: Monitoring project expenditure against the budget to prevent cost overruns and conducting cost-value reconciliation (CVR).
Compliance & Risk: Ensuring projects comply with legal regulations, safety standards, and identifying potential risks to mitigate costs.
