ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled QS to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project costs, contractual requirements & specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in full tender/bidding exercise - Briefing, Site Visit, Cost Estimates, Document, Submission, Evaluation and Journaling.
Prepare and monitor project costs and managing variations.
Evaluate quotation and engage vendors/subcontractors for price & service negotiation.
Manage interim valuations, final accounts and cost reports.
Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors and project team.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying , Civil Engineering or relevant.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction, civil engineering field is a plus.
Strong organisational skills, meticulous, independent and versatile.
Take great pride in providing quality of works, accountablity of roles and advocate of team spirit.
Good communication skills (written & verbal), comfortable interacting with clients/staff at all levels.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general tech-savvy.
Those who do not meet the qualification will be considered for junior post and vice-versa.
