Key Responsibilities
Oversee all pre- and post-contract processes for demolition and associated works, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and project requirements
Prepare detailed and competitive tender submissions, including quantity take-offs, site assessments, and cost analysis for demolition, disposal, and reinstatement works
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with subcontractors, transporters, and waste disposal vendors to secure cost-effective and reliable services
Conduct thorough price comparisons and develop detailed cost breakdowns to support tender strategy and budgeting
Administer variation orders, progress claims, and cost control measures to maintain project profitability and financial accuracy
Manage final account preparation and negotiations, ensuring proper closure of all contractual and financial obligations
Handle contractual matters including Extension of Time (EOT), loss and expense claims, and dispute resolution to mitigate project risks
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of disposal records, permits, and regulatory submissions in line with Singapore authorities (e.g., NEA, MOM, BCA)
Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation for audit, compliance, and internal reporting purposes
Support project teams with ad-hoc tasks in line with operational and tender requirements
Preferred Qualifications & Competencies
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field Diploma/Nitec holders with relevant experience are welcome
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction, demolition, or related industries in Singapore
Familiar with demolition processes, waste disposal logistics, and local regulatory requirements
Strong cost awareness with knowledge of market rates, disposal costs, and subcontractor pricing trends
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, tender-driven environment
Good negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
