Quantity Surveyor (Structural Steel)

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Preparation of measurement sheets and detailed quantity take-off based on drawings and documents for tender and ongoing projects.

. Prepare request for quotation packages to be sent to Suppliers and Subcontractors.

. Evaluate and formulate a bill of quantities for direct and indirect costs.

. Sourcing suppliers and subcontractors for tenders and ongoing projects.

. Construct and assess comparison sheets for quotations from Suppliers and Subcontractors.

. Procurement of materials as per issued fabrication or shop drawings.

. Preparation and submission of variation order quotation.

. Submission of progressive claims to the client and follow-up for payment response.

. Preparation, checking, and monitoring project budget.

. Evaluation and verification of supplier and subcontractor claims.

Requirements

• Experience in Pre & Post-tender.
• At least 3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
• Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD, MS Office.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, with initiative to work independently.
